Mid Century Modern Pal Bell Co Ltd Shabbat Kiddush Bronze Verdigris Enamel Wine Bottle Holder. Removable handle. Support plate engraved with grapes & vine motif and "יין לקידוש ולהבדלה", which I believe means "wine, for sanctification and separation". Designed by Maurice Ascalon. Made in Israel. Hard to find piece, shown in Pal Bell 1950's catalog, #675. Please see last photo for reference. The cap in photo is missing. Good condition. Tarnished metal. Scratches/stains to the interior. Overall wear to enamel paint.
