There is one long drawer across the longest side for cutlery and the top has rounded corners making the dance around the kitchen easy. Old shrinkage and staining on the top. Can also be used as a dining table. Just a lovely warm piece with a lot of age and patina. The top originally had a different base and has been reused, as many farmers did, onto another base. It may have been because as a family grew they needed a bigger table. Both pieces are period and of pine. I am willing to use uShip.com that may lower shipping costs. See less
