All mouth blown, hand molded and hand painted in polychrome … more An unique early/mid 20th century art glass decanter or ewer
All mouth blown, hand molded and hand painted in polychrome enamels glass, aka Moser style
Amber brown color
Intricate shape with tree spherical sections, a pouring spout on the middle , circular foot, long neck with swan shaped stopper, and applied handle
Lavishly decorated with glass crimping on the handle and ruffles around the neck and between the sections and gilt medallion prunts
Exquisitely hand painted all over with vividly colored raised enamels and golden highlights, featuring Medieval knight's symbols: a helmet, a crown, some heraldry banners, among white feathers
A typical piece of art from the renown Catalan Majorcan art glass studios in Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. Possibly by Vidrios da Arte Gordiola, the Gordiola Glassmaking Company, which is the oldest, established in 1719
The Mallorcan production rivals the best examples of the Venetian and Murano glassworks
In July 2021 the technique of glass-blowing was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.
