- We are very pleased to offer an exceptional coffee table by Italian designer Alessandro Gambrielli Gambalogna for Baker Furniture, circa … more We are very pleased to offer an exceptional coffee table by Italian designer Alessandro Gambrielli Gambalogna for Baker Furniture, circa the 1980s. Alessandro did a collection of approximately 25 avant-garde occasional and dining room pieces, to which Baker referred to as "Furniture as an Art Form". As a result of this exclusive partnership, the Italian designer became globally regarded as a master of faux finish techniques. This monumental coffee table showcases his unique aesthetic, the body displays a faux hand-applied lacquered marble finish and the tabletop a delicate leather texture. Inspired by his trips to Asia and Ming-style furniture, he fashioned this table with horse-hoofed feet. The simple elegance and grace of this classic coffee table is as timely now as it was then. This table is in great vintage condition and has been restored (tabletop & edges) for a clean, fresh look. Please see all attached pictures. less
