French Imari Porcelain Vase with Cast Brass Gallery and Base on Pawfeet, with fluted body of baluster form rising to an open mouth. The top is decorated with a dense and abundant cast brass gallery. The body is decorated with a dense flora design in the typical imari color palette of cobalt blue and burnt orange. Different reserves with exuberant floral sprays decorate the vase with a neighborhood scene and bouquet of flower in vase. The base is made of cast brass on four lion paw feet under which is written "Paint a la Main" , hand-painted in French. The vase measures 6.5" in diameter and stands 11.5" tall. See less
