Made in the USA circa 1940s.
Trade Mark stamped at the Base. This mark was used by Crescent Silverware Mfg. Co., Inc., of Port Jervis, New York. The company was founded in New York City in 1922 and moved to Port Jervis in 1939. It made silver-plated hollowware, chrome-plated items and pewter. In 1977, the company was bought by Samuel Kirk & Son.
Condition: The Lid hinge has to be re-glued to the handle, it came apart due to use and History.
Otherwise in good vintage condition with minor wear to the Silver Plate, white porcelain like snow white excellent condition. Please see pictures.
Measures: Height 10.75 x 7.75 width x 7 inches diameter at the lid.
