This set is attributed to Archimede Seguso of Seguso Vetri d'Arte although in the mid-century Gino Cenedese used the scavo corroso technique as did Ermanno Nason for Vetreria Cenedese,
These baluster form vases are in exceptional condition showing masterful execution from the hand of a master glass blower in texture, color and size. I especially appreciate the way the applied glass rope snakes around the vase from the urn form handles
The color tones of the blue range in sky blue to a darker richer blue hue along with the foamy creme opalescent and crusty rust red patina are impressive to the senses.
