The brown vinyl is slightly convex with raised "three dimensional" continents along with both latitude and longitude lines. The left bookend shows the Eastern Hemisphere and the right one shows the Western Hemisphere. The original label is on the back of one bookend stating the manufacturer details (see photos).

A great pair of bookends that will look great in any home or work office. Perfect for a large desk or great for a book shelf or display cabinet. These bookends have a 1960's Curtis Jere style to them. They both retain their felt bottoms to protect your surfaces.

VERY GOOD CONDITION. These bookends are nearly perfect, but they do have some tarnishing and pitting on the base plate portion....see photos. Also, the Eastern Hemisphere is slightly redder in color than the Western Hemisphere which is slightly more espresso color.
