MONUMENTAL 26-inch "OCTAGONAL" hand painted vintage Chinese Porcelain Floor Vase with a pair of Phoenixes or Pheasants on both front … more MONUMENTAL 26-inch "OCTAGONAL" hand painted vintage Chinese Porcelain Floor Vase with a pair of Phoenixes or Pheasants on both front and back, circa Mid to Late 20th Century. This huge vase is circular at the base and is octagonal shaped in the main body with metallic gold handles on the sides. The rim is scalloped in shape.

There are two vignettes of hand painted phoenixes or pheasants with pink, green flowers and leaves and yellow tree blossoms on the both the front side and on the back side (you can see some slight differences in the vignettes as this vase is entirely hand painted). The phoenixes or pheasants are a gorgeous combination of intense and vibrant colors with fine detail. There is a traditional Chinese "Ruji Head" border at the rim, and a "Lappet" border at the base.

This enormous vase is designed to sit on the floor next to your favorite lounge chair or sofa. This vase is too large for a mantel but perfect for a foyer or entryway floor.
