Modeled on the iconic French Line Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (CGT) SS France winged funnels, this vintage ceramic ashtray is designed to draw the smoke of a lighted cigarette up through the smokestack.

Made in the 1960s to promote CGT's SS France steamship ocean liner, the vintage ashtray is marked "France" on the bottom and is very good condition showing light wear consistent with its age and use.
