Gorgeous mid-century modern (a.k.a. MCM) to modern tuxedo sofa by Henredon comprised of a fully upholstered frame including three loose seat & three loose back cushions wearing the original yellow and chartreuse with a touch of orange plaid fabric. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. This sofa and fabric is in excellent vintage condition with no outstanding flaws found! We are SO EXCITED about this fabulous find!! We have a stunning tuxedo style sofa by Henredon ready to grace your home with its phenomenal presence!! It has a fully upholstered frame, including the legs and it is wearing its incredible original modernized plaid fabric bursting with lovely colors of chartreuse green and yellow with a touch of orange, all in excellent vintage condition. It has three loose seat and three loose back poly filled cushions with zippers and two nice, large arm covers. And talk about comfortable!!! It is going to look amazing in your mid-century modern to modern living room, in the den flanking the fireplace, or in the family room next to a wonderful lounge chair. In addition, it is beautifully upholstered all around so it will look marvelous floating right in the center of whatever room you choose!
Henredon was founded in 1945 by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. These four men were determined to build furniture of custom quality and their original offering was only three chests. It has since blossomed into hundreds of designs still in keeping with their goal. Through the years they have engaged well known designers to create their unique and fine furniture. They currently are part of the company Furniture Brands, Inc. but still embracing their long-standing tradition of fine furniture craftsmanship and reputation for timeless elegance.
