This Wayne Thibeuad offset lithograph print custom framed Pop Art poster " Blue Vendor " 19363, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Pop Art poster print is printed in The United States in 2017. It features an artwork image originally created by Thiebaud in 1963 titled " Blue Vendor ", courtesy Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C., copyright 2017 Wayne Thiebaud / licensed by VAGA, New York, NY.
Wayne Thiebaud ( 1920 - 2021 ) is an American painter widely known for his luscious handling of paint, and brilliant colorful palette of works depicting commonplace objects that combined sensuousness, nostalgia and a hint of melancholy. Thiebaud is associated with The Pop Art Movement because of his interest in objects of mass culture. Although his early works, executed during the 1950's and 1960's, slightly predate the works of classic Pop artists. he uses heavy pigment and exaggerated colors to depict his subjects, and the well defined shadows characteristic of advertisements are almost always included in his work. Art works by Thiebaud are included in the collections of many of the most prestigious museums.
The framed Pop Art poster print measures 23 1/4" W X 29 1/2" H X 3/4" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern aqua blue matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling. It is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
