1800’s French Settee Loveseat Sofa Loui XVI. This stunningly gorgeous French Settee Loveseat has all the construction hallmarks of the rare 19th Century piece it is. The strapping is exceptionally tight, strong and of the highest quality . Under and around the Settee seat Springs is old beautiful Straw. Straw was used as padding in times before the use of horse hair. Other Pieces we acquired from the same Estate as this Settee have locks which are etched signed , Paris France. For example the 1800’s Ladies Writing. This 1800’s breathtaking French Settee was obviously originally from a Grand French Estate! It was certainly as well cared for as the beautiful gardens it surely looked out upon. A rare treasure of a Charish find! An Heirloom piece of great beauty to be passed on from generation to generation, loved and admired by all.
