C.1998-99; French Paul Mathieu design for Holly Hunt Showrooms, are these pair of patinated bronze and black leather upholstered occasional, side chairs. A "To the Trade," representative multi-national line, which exclusively represents this designed collection by Paul Mathieu in these unique, a sculptural, a la Henry Moore meets Giacometti-style imbued influence(s), along with elements of European and Scandinavian simple refinement, such as a nuanced wishbone esthetic, throughout the frame. A sophisticated, unique and eclectic design full of the artistic and crafted end of Industrial and furniture design, that form follows function, BUT that form should never be deterred or refrained, but a wonderful nod to the, "Art is still Alive," Mantra.
