Beautiful patina on this very old wedding basket made of rattan, wood, and wicker with ornate metal accents. Detailed carving on both sides. The lid is removable as well as the top compartment. Makes a great storage piece or simply displayed for old world charm. I would be happy to say exactly how old it is if I knew.
It has damage and repairs to the corners of the lid (see pics) the top of the lid looks as though it once had calligraphy that has worn off. It would be a good stash storage piece but the lid should probably not be taken on and off for everyday use. Old and imperfect. Priced accordingly.
Measures 17.5” tall including handles. 14” wide. Each compartment is 4.5” deep less
