This pair of beautifully crafted chenets, retain their original gilding which was uncovered after painstaking weeks of restoration. Two half round fluted columns, at either end. Each column decorated with an applied swag and topped by a knob finial on one and an acorn finial on the taller. A "gate" of open gilt bronze work between the 2 ends. A "braided" gilt bronze rope below all.
Including the back leg support they are 5 inches deep.
