This is a bit of a mystery chair. It was acquired along with a few other Jens Risom pieces and … more This is a bit of a mystery chair. It was acquired along with a few other Jens Risom pieces and certainly has that look but we haven't been able to find an identical chair. It is definitely early as evidenced by the materials and construction. It also is similar stylistically to works by Mel Smilow and Ralph Rapson. The chair is quite petite but sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. Perhaps the mystery chair is a prototype of some sort.
