Fabulous postmodern tessellated Mactan rough edge stone round pedestal base side table with 4 polished spheres and a round beveled glass top in the style of Maitland Smith. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Marvelous, Mactan stone, and Maitland Smith Style!!! This is a stunning side table comprised of a rough edge Mactan stone cylindrical pedestal base featuring four polished spheres holding a lovely round beveled edge glass top in the style of Maitland Smith. So, a fun fact about Mactan stone… It is a sedimentary conglomerate of shale and coral quarried in the Philippines on an island called Opon which is located at the eastern part of the province of Cebu. It’s an island encircled by fascinating beaches and wondrous sights. The original name for these stones was "Coral stones" but that changed as the years passed by. Mactan Stones is Opon's Marvelous Gem. And this side table is DEFINITELY a gem!! Isn’t it GORGEOUS??? We certainly think so! It is ready to become the favorite latest postmodern addition to your home whether in the family room next to a chair hosting a lovely table lamp or on the side of a chaise in the living room.
