T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb slipper chair. The slipper chair traditionally is an armless chair that sits closer to the floor than other chairs. Featuring that elegantly tapered and sinuous leg and reupholstered in a dark gray combed tweed fabric. Circa 1940-50. Very comfortable and luxurious. Glossy black lacquered wood frame. Good overall condition. Structurally sound and sturdy. Newly reupholstered with fabric and foam cushions. The wood frame has some minor bumps, bruising, fine minor scratches and finish losses.
