Did you know that elephants bring luck? Did you know that ladybugs bring luck? What can one do with an elephant that has ladybugs hand painted on it? Easy - celebrate the luck!!
Anatoly Turov emigrated to the US from Russia in 1989, and began his art project of hand made ceramics in 1992. The elephants are part of his earliest works, and something about the artwork tells me he was happy to be out of the iIron Curtain and celebrating his newfound happiness.
