20726 Vintage Modern Berber Moroccan Rug, 09'02 x 12'06. Stark hues of the colors woven into this piece work together to create a truly unique look. The diversely variegated color rods and dashes conjure the tribal feeling of Moroccan spirit in this Berber Moroccan rug. In ancient Berber rug-making, the motif of reproduction is commonly seen, however it usually revolves around the woman. In this tribal Moroccan rug, the very rare rod shape is featured, which is known to represent the role of the male in reproduction. Eye-catching and detailed, the contemporary abstract pattern in this Moroccan rug beautifully showcases funky bold pops of color, elements of comfort and functional versatility. Characterized by geometric shapes and a bold use of color, this contemporary abstract Moroccan rug draws inspiration from Gerhard Richter, John Richard Jinlu, Paul Ngo and Agnes Martin.
