A set of four French barbotine majolica asparagus plates by Creil et Montereau, circa 1890. A beautiful iridescent teal blue glaze on fluted rims, with two raised asparagus spears, one bordering a deep sauce well. A rare color - this mold is most often found in turquoise blue.
