Spectacular postmodern Italian Molto + Di maroon leather sofa by Tittina Ammannati & Vitelli Giampiero for I4 Mariani. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. We have touched up a couple of nicks. Please see photos and zoom in for details. Che splendido divano in pelle!!!! That’s Italian for “What a GORGEOUS leather sofa!!!! This is a SPLENID postmodern Italian Molto + Di maroon leather sofa designed by Italian designer duo Tittina Ammannati & Vitelli Giampiero for I4 Mariani. It’s quite a mouthful… but this sofa deserves every word!! It is comprised of a fantastic maroon leather contoured frame and holds two stacked curved cylinder-shaped bolster pillows one deep navy blue and one antique white, a maroon leather back pillow, a dark navy contoured wedge side or arm cushion, and it stands on large black cylinder legs. The loose cushions have black elastic straps with hook & eye clasps. It is PHENOMENAL with a Memphis style feel and ready to make a serious statement in your living, family, or sitting room. Maybe flanking the fireplace in the study? There isn’t any room where this fabulous maroon leather sofa won’t blend beautifully.
I4 Mariani was established by four brothers Biagio, Tarcisio, Umberto, and Emilio in 1957, and it continues to be a family operated company.
