Excellent Pre-Owned Condition.
This fine looking quartet was way ahead of its time with regard to its modern look-and-feel when it debuted in 1936. Made by Hazel Atlas, Moderntone was one of three patterns the company produced during this period that was quite avant-garde and well received. The block ring circular pattern really pops in the Ritz Blue color, a Hazel Atlas exclusive hue. Each cup measures 3¾” x 3” W/H, capacity 4 oz. apiece; together the set weighs 1 lb. 6 oz. Crafted from moulded pressed glass. In excellent condition with random inclusions that are inherent in any glassware and are original to the manufacturer. A gorgeous set that will brighten up any tablescape, in any season!
