It has patina, of course. There are no major dents, but some small dents, small areas of pitting & scratches on the piece. I polished it and cleaned most of the years worth of wax from the candles holders. I'm not a perfectionist and didn't want to rub too hard, but I think it came out beautiful. The Fairmont Dallas Hotel opened in 1969, the luxury hotel became a regular destination for those seeking lush accommodations and was dubbed the City's finest hotel. No expense was spared and 53 years later it is still among the great hotels in Dallas.

How it made its way to the estate of a longtime Portland wine collector is a mystery to me. less
