Description: Vintage Buddhist Display case from China. Custom construction. Traditional high double lotus base with a plinth-on-plinth design. Painted oxblood color … more Vintage Buddhist Display case from China. Custom construction. Traditional high double lotus base with a plinth-on-plinth design. Painted oxblood color with gilt details in a completely round manner. All sides are alike. Wired with one uplight ( Edison socket) to the bottom of the case and shining upward through a frosted glass bottom of the case. Two quarter-inch glass shelves on adjustable rails in each corner, see detailed photos. The top is mirrored downward. Construction is two sections, the top vitrine lifts off the lower lotus base. Photos of disassembly are available.
All wood construction. no casters on but can be added, if desired
The size is 6"11" ( 83" tall) on a base of 38" wide by 25" deep.
The glass shelves are 28" by 14.75" deep.
Very clean and in good condition. A handsome case for display and has a second identical case also available if desired. less
