Considering its age it is in beautiful condition One can easily replace the hooks with something of their choice however we did not want to take that liberty as we felt it best to list it in all original condition. less

Exclusively on offer with Chairish for a limited time, Emile Galle Iris Inlay Marquetry boudoir powder room wall panel mirror imported from France. This beautiful piece survived the destructuion of two world wars and Nazis looting and finally made it's escape to America after the war.
World Famous 1800s French designer Emile Galle Boudoir powder room Mirror stand with hand towel hooks and rack.
Fashioned in his signature style of Iris, foliage, fruit and raspberry blooms marquetry in a Chinoiserie style. Factory branded on backside. Iris flower bud bronze sculpted hooks and hand towel rack features included.
Of the 1890 to 1914 "Ecole De Nancy" school of art movement in Nancy, France. Feel free to google more info.
Looks fantastic used on bi-level staircases landing, at hallway ends, in a powder room, in a guest room, or used at front and back exit foyers. less
