The copper bottom cladding practically … moreOverall this model is in excellent condition, the wood finish has a fine polished luster. The copper bottom cladding practically glows. There were two small complete breaks to the bowsprit and main mast construction when we found this piece, please see the last photo for the close-up details. Both the bowsprit and the main mast pieces can hold in place by themselves for home display, the attached stays provide enough tension to keep the pieces delicately in place. For any other commercial use we strongly recommend the bowsprit and main mast to be professionally repaired. The display travel case shows scuffs, marks and toning typical of age and use. less

We were told this one of kind scale shipbuilder's model was handcrafted as part of the custom design and build spec package for a Greek shipping magnate to cruise the Mediterranean. Sadly the boat was never built and only this amazing scale model remains.
No cost was spared in making this unique model, this is one of the most detailed models of any kind we have ever seen.
The attention to detail is spectacular, please review all the photos as they tell an accurate story of this design marvel.
The bottom of the boat is clad in copper with brass hardware throughout.

Ship height: 22.5" to top of main mast.
This ship model also comes with a handbuilt wood display and travel case with perimeter latches and thick leather carrying handles.
