This Japanese porcelain fine china 11" handled vegetable bowl and 14" serving platter serving set was made by the Meito China Co. and it was hand painted in Japan in the Cecil pattern that they produced around the 1930's. This set was hand painted by a skilled craftsman who painted lovely hibiscus and cherry blossom with a bright blue geometric border design that has Roman style scroll at the end. The vegetable bowl of this set measures 11 3/8" wide by 2 3/4" tall and the serving platter is 14 3/8" wide by 1 1/2" tall and this serving set is in 'Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing to the glaze, and very little wear to the set for the age of it minor scuffs only.
