This antique pair of chairs from England have been intricately carved in Gothic Revival style with classic arched back adorn with tall spire finials, and elaborately carved ribbon twist back-splats. The wooden seats are clean and squared, with arch-shaped scallops embellishing the front apron at skirt line. The chairs are each raised on a pair of recessed panel board legs on rail feet, with acanthus leaves carved at lower front, and braced with a wood stretcher just above the floor across center. The custom gray/blue finish is complimented with charcoal accents. This early 20th century pair of Gothic style chairs would make wonderful hall chairs. less
