This antique floor clock from Sweden features a rounded head, subtly raised crest, and beautiful raindrop shaped body. Curved molding trim accents about the neck and waist define and give emphasis to the curvature of this piece. The original metal face has hand-painted numbers and delicately stylized hands. The triangular bottom is raised off the floor with scalloped cut-outs along three sides of the skirt. This clock has a scraped finish revealing a soothing and muted color palette, blended with a lot of the natural wood grain showing through, and highlighted about various trim pieces and face. This early 19th century Swedish long-case clock would be a marvelous addition to any room of your home.

This clock would be wonderful as a decorative object, however it is not currently in working condition. Upon purchase (and before shipping), a new quartz battery will be added behind the face. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement, so they would be changed to black hands in a similar in style. The clock would then chime (the chime can be turned off). A pendulum selected to work with the quartz movement would be added.
