Note: I have an extra pair of new Irvinware chromed ice tongs, still in the package, that will be included with the ice bucket.
Always appropriate— sleek and modern brushed and chromed aluminum substantially-sized ice bucket, appropriate for outfitting any bar setup you may have. The bucket rests on a polished chromed pedestal and is tall and deep enough to chill a bottle of wine or champagne. The swivel handle, crafted from a durable and rigid plastic, is accented with an inset chrome band. The lid is polished chrome on the exterior with an insulating plastic underside; topped off with a nicely-sized faux leather wrapped knob. The lid “drops in” on top of the liner and is not meant to be a snug fit. On the interior, the insulated plastic liner is attached and in perfect working order. I have an extra pair of new Irvinware chromed ice tongs, still in the package, that will be included with the ice bucket. The bucket itself is 10½” high with the handle up it is 16” high; 6¼” diameter pedestal base; opening at the top of bucket 8¼” diameter; approximate width 8½”; interior 8¼” x 7” H/D; weight 2 lbs. 14 oz.; crafted from spun and chromed aluminum; moulded plastic insert is attached; faux wrapped leather lid knob. In excellent condition with age-appropriate wear; a few scuff marks on the bucket and top of the lid (see photos 7, 8, 12) that do not detract from its good looks or utility. Made in the USA by Kromex between 1957 to 1958.
