Stunning vintage mid-century modern modified Lawson style sofa with a channeled back, black frieze fabric, round tapered walnut legs and brass sabots. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The sofa is in overall wonderful condition; however, the fabric has an overall slight fading from sunlight giving it an aubergine tone. Seating with a STATEMENT!! Just take another look at this absolutely gorgeous mid-century modern modified Lawson style sofa! It’s designed with low swooped arms; hence, “modified” Lawson style and a fabulous, channeled back. It has two large loose seat cushions with new foam, a new dust cover, and six straight round tapered walnut legs with brass sabots. It’s wearing a wonderful black frieze fabric that has kind of an aubergine overcast as we believe it may have been in the sunlight in its prior home, but it’s in overall wonderful condition and we think the tones are quite lovely. And talk about superb comfort!! There’s nothing quite like a comfy nap on the sofa… and looking so good while relishing in the relaxation! This sofa is going to look amazing in your mid-century modern style living room surrounded by like furniture and décor however, it has a bit of Hollywood Regency flair as well and will blend in beautifully with many décor styles.
