This is such a special museum quality piece.
He is wearing a traditional fisherman's sea captains hat and has a pipe in his mouth.You can see his coat collar and his big beard.
It is so finely hand cast made and gives the impression of flowing movement with the contours of his clothes, even creases to his facial features and forehead.
No foundry mark though it has all the qualities of the Coalbrookdale design influence.
Made in England.
You will love the beautiful cast decorative metal work in high relief detail which is incredible.
Very heavy for its relative small size weighing around 8kg.
