This original screen print is designed by El Jefe and printed by Triple Stamp Press for a 2012 fall tour for the bands The Jealous Sound and Daytrader. Both signed to Rise Records, they also released a split 7-inch recording together, with each band contributing material to one side of the vinyl record. The artist created official artwork for The Jealous Sound's 2012 album A Gentile Reminder, but this particular poster is El Jefe's fan art for the tour.
El Jefe - whose real name is Jeffrey Everett - is a successful designer, illustrator, and author working out of Washington, DC. The subject matter of most of his posters centers around music, and while they fit right in to rock clubs and concert venues, his work can also be found inked into brave people’s skin and framed in high-end galleries around the world (including ours!).
