Georgian Spode transfer-ware tazza, or footed cake plate by Josiah Spode. Made in Staffordshire, England 1820-1830. The cake plate is from the Mediterranean series ‘Lucano’ or ‘Bridge of Lucano’
A dense pattern, printed in a deep blue. There is a SPODE back stamp in blue with an impressed SPODE 48, and the artist’s mark a printed blue ‘F’
