I believe that this is part of a series of figures produced under licence by Heredities in very small numbers entitled Aspects of Childhood. This one is of a young girl sitting on the ground leaning forward.

Signed KJ to the back of the base as shown in the pictures. Karin Jonzen was born in 1914 in Sweden and died in 1998, her works are well sought after and examples are held in major galleries including the Tate Gallery. Examples of her work in Bronze and Terracotta have been auctioned at Christies.

This is a beautiful piece and a very rare opportunity to own a piece of her work.
