Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown orange over white, and gold flecks Italian art glass decorative bowl / ashtray. Documented to Master glass artist and designer Alfredo Barbini, circa 1950-1960. Published design. The color is a rich "persimmon" orange as described in the Barbini catalog. The bowl has an oval shape with 2 indents on the sides. It is also profusely covered in gold leaf on the orange part. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish, or personal ashtray. Mid-century era. Measures 5 7/8” long x 5 1/4” wide x 2 1/4” high.
