SABINO
A gorgeous French 1925-1930 art deco table lamp in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding a small sphere … more SABINO
A gorgeous French 1925-1930 art deco table lamp in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding a small sphere in frosted and locally hand polished molded-pressed glass by Marius Sabino. A beautiful model which exists in several sizes. It is never signed. Yet represented in the old Sabino product catalogs and 1930s magazine advertisements. The lamp has a height of 17,3 cm (about 6,8") and the diameter of the globe is 14 cm (5-1/2"). The diameter of the base is 10,9 cm. It's in excellent condition. I have re-nickeled the original Sabino base. I rewired the fixture with an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
The catalog is of course no part of this sale. As you can see on the last picture I do have a second one of these lamps. The other one has a shade that is slightly less white and more transparent. They do not look great as a pair. So it is listed in a second ad.
