There are horizontal decorative faux brass … more Classic sectional stacked 1970's chrome and brass tubular 4 tiered étagère with glass shelves. There are horizontal decorative faux brass toned bamboo notches at the front and back sides of each shelf. the glass shelvves are held by corner brackets that allow for an inlaid pane look to float between the rounded tubed frame. The shelf positions are stationary in size but seperate into three sections and have round brass toned sleeves that cap each joint at the four corners. I figure that they were created in sections so that they could be shipped at a lower cost rather that a sold unit. However, I noticed that the individual sections when sleeved together felt loose. There were no couplings that came with the unit, so I thought about how metro shelves are created and used a thin layer of foam wrapping to stabilize the shelves at the joints perfectly kind of lilke plumbers tape is used to provide a tight fit for a shower head. (will send the same with the unit.) There is no makers mark discoverable but it does look like an offspring inspired by Milos Boughman designs and we estimate its from his era of 70's to 80s collections. less
