Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are a couple of worn spots in the chrome hidden under the fabric. He has a wide range of work ranging from products including furniture, tableware, lamps, and other high-tech products. All his works are characterized by simplicity, elegance, and functionality. He has been awarded several design prizes over the years and was the winner of The Designer of the Year Denmark in 1983. Torben Orskov is said to be one of the most significant design merchants in Denmark. He founded the company when he was 25 years old after returning from the United States working as a salesperson for a wholesale company that traded design products. With that knowledge, he created a company based on design products and implemented his own ideas and formed a store chain called Form & Farve in Copenhagen. It was the place to go for trendy, fun, and style conscious yet functional designs. He collaborated with many prestigious designers and became close friend with such names as Jorgen Utzon, Kristian Vedel, Jorgen Moller, Hans Bolling, and Finn Juhl. Today the company has been taken over and owned by second generation Jeppe Orskov and his wife Signe Ottesen Orskov and it maintains a significant & excellent reputation.
