Depicted with a full-cheeked face below neatly gathered hair and ushnisha, with large eyes, downcast smile and full pursed lips, all flanked by long pendulous earlobes. Dressed in a robe that tucked under the legs, seated in dhyanasana on a stepped pedestal draped over by a tapestry, with carvings of a pair of foo dogs as guardians. Hands in Dhyana mudra symbolizing unity and connection to human spirits. The stone is in the basalt family. The statue is substantial and heavy.
