This Andy Warhol Foundation rare vintage 1996 offset lithograph print custom framed large Pop Art museum poster " Ten-Foot Flowers " 1967, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Pop Art poster print is published by The Sammlung Marx Im Hamburger Bahnhof Museum Fur Gegenwart Berlin, printed in Germany in 1996 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an iconic artwork image originally created by Warhol in 1967 titled " Ten-Foot Flowers ", copyright 1996 The Andy Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts Inc., Plakatentwurf : Heiner Bastian, Te Neues Verlag, Kempen.
This is a rare opportunity for true Warhol fans and collectors as this coveted image Pop Art poster print is long out of print and very scarce to find. The official " AW " Foundation seal of authenticity is printed on the poster.
Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ) is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide. His infamous life, art works, and creative endeavors are like no other artist. He is credited as the very first artist to use common everyday objects and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. Glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature palette of vibrant color hues make the works stand on its own and loved by millions.
The rare out of print large format framed Pop Art poster measures 34 1/4" W X 37 1/4" H X 1 1/2" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern charcoal gray matte eggshell finish museum box style wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
