This mid-century Japanese woodblock lithograph print by Shiko Munakata hails from the 1970s. It depicts a man in the forest praying to a spirit. Shiko Munakata was a woodblock print maker and visual artist of acclaim. He was associated with the Sosaku Hanga movement and the Mingei (folk art) movement. Presented under glass in a gilt toned wooden frame. On rice or mulberry paper in a glass and black metal floating frame. The frame measures approximately 14" x 21".
