Produced by Jeannette Glass Company this Depression Glass set of creamer and sugar bowl with lid is a lovely addition to your collection. This heritage pattern, Iris and Herringbone, was produced in the late 1920s and discontinued in 1932.
A translucent pattern of herringbone and iris, imbues a subtle and elegant vintage pattern on clear glass. The Bowl exhibits an Art- Deco flare with the ruffled edge detail.
Jeannette Bottle Works began operation in the late 1880s in Jeannette, Penn. In 1898 the company became Jeannette Glass Company, which produced a vast selection of handmade bottles, jars and dishware. Improvements made to the factory in the early 1900s included conversion to a pressed glass facility. This allowed the company to later produce the Depression-era kitchen glass and dinnerware for which they are best known.
The measurements include the lid and handles.
Jeannette Glass Company introduced 14 Collectible Depression Glass patterns during the period from 1928-1938, among these is the Iris and Herringbone pattern.
