-Original 1984 VOLKER TANNERT Abstract Expressionist Painting Large-Scale 101x77" Oil / Canvas, Impasto Dark Blue Black Mid-Century Modern Art
-Large-scale dark and moody abstract expressionist painting by well-known German artist VOLKER TANNERT (b. 1955), created in 1984, depicting a temple on cliffside. Thick oil paint on unstretched canvas (was previously stretched). Signed and dated verso.
-Note: Second photo shows the true colors better. Last photo shows the painting as it was previously stretched. Apparent haziness in the other photos is due to glare / light reflection off the surface of the painting.
-Approximate dimensions: 101" high, 77" wide (sheet)
-Painting is in generally good vintage condition except for some losses, particularly along the edges, due to being unstretched and rolled up for storage (see photos). Minor wear, dirt, and blemishes otherwise. Cleaning or restoration has not been attempted.
-Colors: black, blue, turquoise, orange, purple, green, red, white, gray / grey.
