Dance within dynamic hues and celebrate a feeling of a festive gathering in this original still life oil painting. Ponder an adventurous feast inspired by artisan wares and a collection of fruits and vegetables just waiting to infuse the room with their fragrant aromas.
Inspiration for this oil painting centered around the idea of a gathering with friends and the creativity of establishing an atmosphere where one can feel the love of preparation. The paintings expressive nature helps convey that spirit through it's bold colors and use of line. The artistry and design is felt and a textural quality is evident.
These more subtle aspects of my experience painting this arrangement stemmed from the opportunity to paint with 2 fellow artists at one of their houses on a winter afternoon before the pandemic started to unfold.
