Crack in glass, but it's still in there tightly (last photo). Left cabinet door has damage at both hinges and a bit across the front, but fixed and perfectly functional (photos 10 & 11). Velvet shelf lining has discoloration, fading and stains (photo 9). Drawers are very clean. Not all locks are functional, but all drawers open and close smoothly. See all photos. less

Statement making English mahogany Gothic bookcase from the 19th century! The upper section has a fretwork cornice with cathedral finials, blind locking doors on either side, and a mullion glass center door with lancet details. The base has a knee hole center section with a 'hidden' center door, and two drawers over three drawers on each end. The awesome piece has wood appliques throughout, and rests on bracket feet. It comes with two skeleton keys that work most locks, but not all the locks are working. So much beauty, storage and function in this antique Gothic gem!
Overall dimensions are 48" wide x 20-1/4" deep x 81" high
Top piece measures 47" wide x 12" deep x 48" high
Bottom piece measures 48" wide x 20-1/4" deep x 32-1/2" high
Knee clearance 16" wide x 9" deep x 23" high
Left & right upper cabinets with 2 removable shelves 11" wide x 7-1/2" deep x 27-3/4" high
Center glass cabinet with 3 adjustable shelves 20-1/4" wide x 9-1/2" deep x 35" high
Top section left & right drawers 10-1/4" wide x 7" deep x 3-1/2" high
Top section center drawer 19-1/2" wide x 9" deep x 3-1/2" high
Base section top two center drawers are 22" wide x 17-1/2" deep x 5-1/4" high
