This antique Minton china plate in their Chrysanthemum pattern is a rare and beautiful find from the Victorian Aesthetic Period. Expertly hand painted in a rich shade of burnt orange with gold accents and gold rim, the hexagonal decorative plate can be hung on a wall as decor or displayed in a dining room breakfront cabinet.
The vintage Minton china dish is fully hallmarked on the bottom with an incised mark dating the plate to 1883.
The 19th century china plate shows wear consistent with its age and use. There is light crazing to the glaze as well as black spotting as shown in the listing photographs.
