A late 18th century Country French child size desk, made of solid cherry wood. Beautifully crafted with turned legs and carved stretcher with center finial. Candle stand on the right, attached with turned peg. Missing the candle stand on the left. Divided compartments at the top for pencils and ink pots. Dovetailed drawer with replaced turned knob. Desk top has beautiful old patina with ink stains and waters marks. Waxed finish. A good, sturdy table, well-crafted using pegged construction. Please refer to photos for more details. Candle stand will be removed for shipping.
